Garlic Croutons

Most salads aren’t complete until you top them with croutons. The crunchy bites of carbs are like sprinkles to a cupcake. Not necessary, but it definitely brings your salad up a notch.


Making croutons is incredibly easy and once you make a batch, you won’t go back to the bagged variety. My kids even like to eat these by the handful- go ahead and give them a try.

Garlic Croutons: (Adapted from The Pioneer Woman)

  • Couple day old baguette
  • 1/4 cup garlic infused olive oil (I found mine at Lidl)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan
  • salt and pepper to taste



1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut baguette into cubes and place into large bowl.

2. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic salt and Parmesan over top of bread cubes. Pour oil overtop and give a good toss to make sure all ingredients are incorporated well.

3. Spread croutons onto a cookie sheet, making sure to leave space between each piece. Bake for 10 minutes until they are crisp and golden in color. Serve immediately or store in a covered container.


These croutons have a delicious crunch and awesome garlic flavor. They would be a wonderful addition to Caesar salad or any other salad you might be making.
