Valentine’s Day S’mores

My son is in 3rd grade and he will be celebrating Valentine’s Day at a party with his classmates. I think these s’mores treat bags would make a welcome addition to the Valentine’s card exchange or to pass out to his teachers. Who doesn’t like a bit of chocolate?!

Anyhow, these are a snap to put together- I enjoy quick step projects because they work with my time schedule. They allow a little creativity, but still leave me the time to handle all my other household duties. A mothers job never ends…Haha!

For these treat bags you will want to collect a few items.

  • Cellophane bags (I found mine at my local Walmart; they can also be found at craft stores.)
  • Pretty ribbon to tie your bags or decorative mini clothes pins (I got mine at Michaels craft store.)
  • Heart shaped marshmallows
  • Chocolate hearts
  • Graham crackers

*All the edible food items came from Aldi- great value!!

To assemble- place graham crackers, chocolate candy and then the marshmallows into the bags. I put two of each item in the baggies. Once everything is nestled in the cellophane bags tie or clip closed. You may even add a personalized tag for extra charm and thoughtfulness.

These are so simple, yet they leave a sweet impression. Your sweetheart will appreciate this delicious treat. If you are planning a party to celebrate cupids and heart day then these would make a perfect party favor. They are easy for the guests to tote away and savor once home.
